The 3rd graders are devoting these first few months of the 2015-2016 school year to memorizing and perfecting music for JMA's annual Christmas program. The program is scheduled for Tuesday, December 8, at 7:00 pm in the Trojan Center. These students have quite a bit of hard work ahead of them as they prepare. I will be posting the lyrics to their Christmas pieces on this page as time progresses.
For performance night, boys are wearing khaki or black pants with a solid red, solid green, or Christmas-themed shirt of any style (ie: crew neck, polo, turtleneck, etc.). Please, no jeans. Girls may wear khaki or black skirts with a solid red, solid green, or Christmas-themed shirt or blouse. Girls may also wear a Christmas-themed dress as well. I would also like for each student to bring to school a brightly colored or "ugly" pair of socks for one of our pieces. And, on that note, an outfit with pockets of some sort would be handy!
Students should plan to meet in the upper school hallway closest to the lower school building no earlier than 6:30 pm. Students will find their assigned place and walk together to the Trojan Center at performance time.
